Day 1: Arrival in Dharchula
Your journey begins with your arrival in Dharchula, a quiet town near the Indo-Nepal border. After checking into your hotel, you can relax and enjoy a peaceful evening by exploring the local market and experiencing the town’s traditional charm. Dinner will be provided at the hotel.
Day 2: Visit to Jauljibi and Narayan Ashram
On the second day, you will take a scenic drive to Jauljibi, located at the confluence of the Kali and Gori rivers. The town is famous for its annual trade fair and offers picturesque views. Afterward, you will visit Narayan Ashram, a spiritual retreat surrounded by the beauty of nature, perfect for meditation and reflection. You’ll return to Dharchula in the evening for dinner.
Day 3: Explore Chirkila Dam and Thamri Kund
On the third day, you will visit the Chirkila Dam, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Day 5: Dharchula to Gunji
On the fifth day, you will drive from Dharchula to Gunji, a small village located at a high altitude, often used as a base for treks to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat. After checking into your guesthouse, you will have the evening to explore the village and acclimate to the higher altitude.
Day 6: Trek to Adi Kailash and Parvati Sarovar
Day six takes you on a trek to the sacred Adi Kailash, also known as Chhota Kailash, one of the holiest sites for Hindus. You will also visit Parvati Sarovar, a serene lake at the base of Adi Kailash, where pilgrims offer prayers. Day 11: Departure
