Day 1: Arrival in Dharchula
Your tour begins with your arrival in Dharchula, a quaint town located on the banks of the Kali River. Upon arrival, you will check into a comfortable hotel where you can relax and prepare for the upcoming adventure. In the evening, you can take a walk around the local market and enjoy the traditional Pahadi culture. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
Day 2: Dharchula to Gunji
After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive from Dharchula to Gunji. The journey will take you through lush valleys and along the Kali River, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Gunji, located at a high altitude, serves as the base for your trek to Adi Kailash. After arriving in Gunji, you will check into your guesthouse and rest for the night.
Day 3: Trek to Adi Kailash and Parvati Sarovar
On the third day, your trek to Adi Kailash and Parvati Sarovar begins. The trek offers spectacular views of the towering peaks, including the snow-capped Adi Kailash, which is considered sacred by Hindus. You will also visit Parvati Sarovar, a calm lake at the base of the mountain, where pilgrims offer prayers. After spending time in the serene environment, you will trek back to Gunji and stay overnight at the guesthouse.
Day 4: Visit Om Parvat and Kali Temple
The fourth day takes you on a journey to Om Parvat, a mountain where the natural snow formation resembles the sacred ‘Om’ symbol. This is another important site for pilgrims and trekkers alike. After visiting Om Parvat, you will also visit the Kali Temple, located near the Indo-Tibetan border, to pay homage to Goddess Kali. After the visit, you will return to Gunji for dinner and rest.
Day 5: Gunji to Dharchula and Departure
On the final day, you will drive back from Gunji to Dharchula after breakfast. Upon reaching Dharchula, your tour ends, and you will depart with memories of a spiritually enriching journey through the Himalayas.
